Brushes like birds
Free, they decide where to fly to and what to paint. As birds don’t have ego, don’t idolise, don’t care about money, power, or any silly concept. I believe our art could go beyond the window and fly to find out what is beyond that horizon. Free brushes! Let them out from their cages —if they aren’t yet— let them soar.

Le Viaduct des Arts become my art gallery. — back in 2021 when Covid still affect many of us.
Suddenly close to the Canal Sant-Martin in Paris, I find around 20 wood boards, 'garbage' from a plants shop. Some of the boards had magnets on the back, so the idea: artworks as ‘traffic signals’ but in the park. The Organic has been influencing my art process. Nothing more organic than a park full of nature.

Passos à Part is an exhibition where the protagonist is the dance. Using acrylics-over-canvas as technique the exhibition was inspired on the pop-culture and its dancing film's climax such as Chaplin and his Bread Roll Dance; Mary Poppings and her spins on the air; Hippies in the park dancing Acquarius (Hair); 50's Batman series; among others.
The famous french director Jean-Luc Godard's movie called Bande à Part was used as inspiration not only for one of the paintings but also for the name of the exhibition. It refers, by one hand, to the prominent steps of the dance in the history of pop-culture and, by the other hand, to the own Artist's steps into the art field.

Troito’s 2015 exhibition
The exhibition Hem Ljuva Hem was produced by Troito in his stay at Eckerö Post & Customs as resident artist in May 2015. “I decided to recycle wood piece I found around the Åland’s island and to transform them into artwork. The archipelago in between Baltic Sea and Gulf Bothnia beacame a place with great inspiration.. Like a puzzle I joined wasted wood pieces and painted elements such as fishers houses over boats, Deers, cups of coffee, lighthouses… I used Röd Mylla color, typical from the region, over boards of wood rich on texture.” Art and Åland transformed Troitiño’s brief stay into a transitory Home Sweet Home (Hem Ljuva Hem in Sweeden).
“Our body is like an island in constant movement. In this piece of organic material we build our-self, our very personal cozy place.”
Rodrigo Troitiño

Coffee and Good Feelings — 2001.
Positive thinking & surround ourselves with good energy is a way of living and making a constructive life. A room dressed with fun art pieces can craft our daily routine into a life full of happiness. — That was the insight back in 2008 that changed my concept of art and turning my artwork strongly influenced in the following years.
The moment we have a cup of coffee was the inspiration of my second exhibition.
