Alassio — 2023.

Good feelings embodied in a piece of art.

A source of good energy painted with acrylics over canvas* (better, over wasted/recycled material). Glad to be the artist resident at Rossonove, Alassio, Italy, April 2023.

—Via Julia Augusta, Alassio,

The project started on the 16 of April, 2023, in Alassio. The first person I painted good feelings for was Bianca, 10 years old. Staring the full of energy: Nebbia.

I also painted Gema’s good feelings. The sun, a cookie, her friends, a game she used to play in her pueblo called ‘latigazo’ (basically friends giving hands and spinning around till one kid fly away).

When Simona was young her family drove to Calábria, slept in the car and listened La Canzone del Sole. That’s her sunny happy memory.

Elia and his visit to the aquarium in Genova and Gioele when run away to the pool of balls.

Paola’s safe port is her home. A place she feels the happiest when having her family around.

This is Cristina from Rossonove association. She is one of the people who makes the art residence, I’m part this month in Alassio, possible. 🙌🏼 Cristina loves the mountains, discover new places and their diversity of smells. Also an unforgettable happy moment, the moment when her son holds her finger for the very first time.

Paola loves nature close to the ocean and poppy flowers. She admires quality time and her unique special friends.

The here and the present is where Sara find the true happy feelings.

Gabriella and Maurizio find the greatest happiness on their family, including Aquiles the beloved ‘show-dog’.

To Irene happiness is to walk into the nature.

Roberta feel the happiest when she is with her parents.

Cecilia’s happiness is to be with her friends and also her horse.

Anita’s best happy memory is when she met her brother for the very first time.

Stefy loves to feel and to meet people. The most remarkable happy moments are when her son born. Also moving together with her love, when young being with her grandparents and the egg game her grandparent used to do over and over.

Federico’s best memory from his childhood is his time by the house into the woods. It was an exploration time searching for (supposed) tombs and fighting the poison snake.

This project was done thanks to the support of Rossonove, Cristina and Federico, You can check what they are up to and get more details about the art association / residence in their WEB: www.rossonove.org
