Blended by the winds from the mesosphere, or by the meteorological conditions in Neptune, maybe related to the news from the Black Lodge, or the African bee’s mood, etc.

Often I don’t plan much the subject I will explore in my personal drawing, they get influenced by a variety of things.

Even if it’s summer here in Greece, pos-lockdown, I don’t know the origin, core inspiration of this Jealous Flamingo. Nevertheless for me it's about deceptive appearances, how we react and get our life disturbed by shinny things. A flamingo having strange feelings to a couple – in reality a fake couple, a swimming pool ladder. I particularly like how the iron fake flamingos are connected between them, adding a second layer of meaning.

I did the first sketch in pencil a couple of months ago, just after Covid-19 lockdown, in Athens. It took me two days to finish this digital version.
